BIZ Chinatown
'THE CHINATOWN OF THE NETHERLANDS'
The business owners and local entrepreneurs in Chinatown The Hague joined forces in 2016 and 2017. Early 2019 they formed a BIZ – a Business Investment Zone – with the official support of the City Council. BIZ Chinatown The Hague is a local business foundation. The primary objectives of the BIZ are the representation of the joint interests of the business owners/local entrepreneurs and their collaboration to turn Chinatown The Hague into ‘the Chinatown of the Netherlands’. To this end, they organised activities to put the area firmly on the map, enhance the area’s unique charm and Asian appearance and contribute to the local economy and quality of life. Chinatown The Hague is an area where everyone of every age feels at home and safe and can join, see, taste, feel and discover all it has to offer.
Collaboration and representation of interests
The foundation behind the Chinatown The Hague BIZ is an active representative, collaborative, connective and promotional partner. Its management board maintains close contacts with third parties like the City Council, police, residents’ association, real estate owners, district organisations and other BIZ associations to optimally collaborate, attune and represent the interests for Chinatown The Hague.
